Thought to be the world’s largest boy-toy, this remote control Hummer H3 is a full sized car.  You can use it to drive over obstacles, cross rivers and do all the things you wouldn’t want to do while in the car yourself.

This video showcases the full sized remote control truck in all it’s glory.  But if you want some more video action, there’s also a nice video of ‘The Sun’ team crashing the truck HERE.

The $70,000 Hummer H3 was designed by a team at Cranfield University in Bedfordshire.  Dr. James Brighton, The Chief Engineer described, “It can climb a 407mm vertical wall, go down a 40 per cent side slope and operate in up to 610mm of water.”

If this looks too professional, you can also watch some amateurs remote control their car here:

This is by far the lamest thing I've read on Trendhunter. I mean, Hummers should be used for very specific reasons like rescuing people after a natural disaster or something worth of such a monstruosity of a vehicle. To then have it become a wasteful toy that still chugs gas, for the sole purpose of seeing it do the stunts you wouldn't dare to do while inside...it's just ludicrous! Hopefully, this "toy designer" will get hit by his/her own toy Hummer!
