The New DC Logo Pays Tribute to the Company's Legacy

The DC logo has undergone a new change which incorporates the company's past branding. The company explains in a press release that "The new DC logo is a mark that leverages over 80 years of heritage with an eye toward the future."

The new DC logo, made in collaboration with Pentagram, is therefore a tribute to the entertainment brand's iconic legacy as well as its plans to continue offering more exciting content. The logo already ornaments the company's website, social media channels and other online sources.

It is set to appear in print on the covers of ‘DC Universe: Rebirth Special #1’ by Geoff Johns. This new DC logo helps to evolve the brand's identity and works to reflect its fresh content while contributing to its rich history of design.
