This new campaign for Brazil-based Atlantis Travel Agency uses violent backdrops of ancient wars. The imagery depicts what traveling to another country used to entail, and encourages people to visit those places now that things have changed and tourism is much more welcoming.

The ads, which were illustrated by Carlos Fonseca, show the bloody mess that resulted from the Italians visiting Constantinople in 1204, the Assyrians visiting Israel in 722 D.C, and the French visiting Austria in 1749. They go on to tell you, “Times have changed. Take the opportunity and travel.”

The campaign was created by MatosGrey ad agency in São Paulo, Brazil with creative directors Silvio Matos, Leandro Castilho, art director Lucas Heck, and copywriter Filipe Medici.
