There are many different takes on housewives and each are different in their own unique ways. Mad Men depicts the troubles of housewives living in the early 1960s while Vogue and Maxim shoots playful covers that glamorize it.
While neither is 100% accurate, you must agree that no matter what the takes on housewives are at any give point, these lean, mean, cooking and cleaning machines know how to keep their home in order.
Implications - Consumers greatly appreciate products that help them relate to images they see in campaigns or editorials. Companies that wish to connect to their audience in a deeper and more emotional way should consider manipulating this use of relatable imagery to draw in a larger clientele.
