50 Fierce Nina Ricci Features

From High Anti-Heel Campaigns to Bad Apple Ads

— November 3, 2011 — Fashion
Founded in 1932 by Maria Nina Ricci and her son Robert, Nina Ricci is one of the oldest and most iconic Parisian fashion houses. Ricci passed away in 1970 at the age of 87, but the brand has not slowed down, as it continues to be one of the most anticipated shows during Paris Fashion Week.

The Nina Ricci fashion house has gone through a slew of designers, but most recently, Brussels-born designer Olivier Theyskens of Rochas was announced to take over the role as head of the label in 2006. In 2009, Theyskens was replaced by designer Peter Copping, who had previously worked for Louis Vuitton.

Nina Ricci is also famous for creating some iconic fragrances, the most well-known being 'L'Air du Temps.'
