Her delicate, romantic portraits and fashion illustrations are inspired by contemporary fashion designers such as Stella McCartney, John Galliano, Mulberry, Roberto Cavalli, Zac Posen, and Nina Ricci. Smith also names actress Marion Cotillard and fashion icon Mary Kate Olsen as inspirations.
