The Daytona 500 happened over the weekend and Dale Earnhardt Jr. came out on top. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won this year's 2014 Daytona 500, but he didn't just take home prestigious victory, he also walked away with more than 1.5 million in the process. This is his second Daytona victory since his first, which happened 10 years ago.
It comes as no surprise people like to race -- the adrenaline must be addicting. For those in the stands, they get to watch their dream cars race down the ramp at ungodly speeds. The cars are always the most important part of the race and there are many super cars and race cars out there on the market for people to own. It seems as though every auto maker has their own spin on a race car that is affordable for all. Until then, people can experience the art of racing at the Daytona 500.
