Co-branding is an excellent way for brands to attract new audiences by partnering with brands in other industries that cater to an overlapping demographic. Unsurprisingly, a lot of co-branding initiatives involving automotive companies cater towards the male demographic. The demographic of people who are interested in cars tend to also be drawn towards sport, alcoholic beverages and male fashion, making it convenient and profitable for companies in these aforementioned industries to indulge in co-branding efforts with car companies.

Many auto brands have come to be closely associated with specific approaches towards design; therefore, it is becoming increasingly common to see design cues and color composition schemes inspired by specific auto brands infiltrating different design projects.
