Celebrities have collaborated to design and create various co-branded products including apparel and cosmetics.

Some celebrities utilize their popularity to launch product lines. The Kardashian-Jenner family has been incredibly successful at utilizing their fame to launch niche consumer goods. Kim Kardashian has released a mobile game version of her life, as well as the Kimoji app that lets fans use emojis she created. Her younger sister Kylie Jenner has been very successful with her cosmetic products like the 'Kylie Lip Kit.'

Cristiano Ronaldo co-owns a soccer-theme hotel in his home town in Portugal. The hotel is filled with soccer memorabilia and some of his own memorabilia. Ronaldo also has a clothing line that includes underwear and shirts. Celebrities can successfully launch product lines by tapping into their fan base to sell the goods easily because of the name association. They are also able to tap into and dominate niche markets thanks to their immense fame and large following.
