Trend Hunter’s robot section features several hundred robots, but none are more freaky than these 36, which each have human jobs.  Having said that, I did cheat a little on this list, adding some unemployed robots that are simply human-like and freaky.  Enjoy!

Implications - If one were to ask somebody from the past what the year 2008 would look like, they were more than likely to give an answer involving flying cars and robots that look and act like humans. Though such things are not common, they do exist and are in early testing phases. This provides insight on the technological advancements that have occurred in recent years, while giving a sneak peek into what the future might actually look like.
