A Cambodian artist named Anida Yoeu Ali was dressed up a giant orange ‘Buddhist Bug’ as a tribute to her heritage. Her new installation titled ‘Buddhist Bug Project’ became shocking as she revealed her costume in public for many viewers. The outfit consisted of an orange coiled color scheme that can be compressed and expanded to nearly 100 feet in size. She colloborated with the Phnom Penh-based Studio Revolt to execute this art installation of public awareness.
The ‘Buddhist Bug’ had many people intrigued as to why someone would wear this outfit randomly on the streets. The costume color scheme and drapes also resembled the attire of Buddhist monks that typically wear this as a robe. It really made quite the impression with such an inspiring message of culture.
