Brian G on hamsters: "They were kind of boring and smelled funny." HA! Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
This one's gonna fly... nice. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
This is a fantastic idea! I agree, these tables are a far more attractive use of Venetian blinds than the original. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Soy milk, vegetables, and candy. Oh, and a homemade sauce that's since gone bad, and old gazpacho. And depending on the day, alcohol and/or tobacco products. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
If I were a soldier fighting in Afghanistan who received these chocolates, I'd find them exceptionally rude. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
On the front page, the bottom half of this tattoo was cut off, and as I glanced at it I wished to myself that the bottom of the image would read "I'm Hustling." My dream has come true. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Woof, I know. What's funny, though, is that all year long we've been writing about blended-in brows and shaving off eyebrows and all of that. These are the antithesis of that trend! Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
You know what they should do? Make it cheaper to register a green car, and make you except from tolls, parking meter fees and parking garage fees. Now THERE'S an incentive to go green. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
That said, I don't drive a green car, so maybe that's why I wouldn't pay the 30 bones... Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Do you have to pay more for these? If they were free, that's one thing, but I wouldn't pay $30 (the cost of a pretty custom plate in CA) to tell other drivers what they already know (that I drive a green car). Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
So simple, and yet it hadn't been invented before. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Fantastic. Love Escher, and this honors him well. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
This is really neat... but the color scheme makes me think of something yucky. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
What's with you and blood today, Robyn? :) Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Jessica was perhaps the person best equipped to conduct this interview, because everyone else in the SoTHo watches 'Three Sheets' religiously, loves Zane Lamprey and would kill for Pleepleus shirts... and would therefore not be able to focus on anything besides asking ZL to do the Professor voice and trying NOT to Jim the Cop. Suffice it to say I will be heading up to one of these events, and may even make it up to SF for NYE! Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
Fantastic. Regretsy is one of my favorite daily haunts... Although the mystery of Helen Killer's real identity will continue to plague me, I'm thrilled with all of her answers to this interview, in particular #s 5-8. Comment by Marissa Brassfield |
