Born in 1972 to the Chinese zodiac sign of the Rat in Penang, Malaysia but currently residing in Venice. A business graduate from Australia, I worked with Price Waterhouse and eventually joined a maritime company Maersk Line where I spent a major part of my working life with. Lived and worked in 6 other countries (USA, Australia, Denmark, UAE, Singapore and Italy) outside my own home for the last 15 years. Ended up speaking 5 languages to date.

Decided that I had enough of shipping , left my job in 2008 and took the plunge to consider a more creative career path that includes writing and research and consumer behaviour. My passion is within the realm of lifestyle and its trends as it unfolds. The world changes all the time, that is why it is so interesting to follow its development and our consumption patterns. What is the next big thing? I want to be part of this exciting journey.

I am particularly fond of furniture designs, scandinavian designs, architecture, classic and certain contemporary art and the art of dining . I bake while listening to music as a means of chilling out. I love travelling and reading for some brain input and running to stay fit.
