Fancy living at sea--actually, living on a floating city with resources grown and harvested from the sea? A project called Open Sailing is building a vision of life at sea, pioneering a new form of marine architecture.

Using principles called Instinctive Architecture and Swarm Theory, the architecture can respond to the volatile sea conditions. This makes living on the ocean a far more feasible endeavor!

Implications - The "drifting village" would be made out of housing shelters that are surrounded by units that would be used for farming. The idea is to live somewhere totally sustainable, eco-friendly and reconfigurable. It would use wind, solar and wave power to produce energy at all times safely.
