adidas Consortium's ZX 4000 Sneakers Boast Retro Design Cues

adidas Consortium introduces the new ZX 4000 sneakers that are designed with elements drawn from its archives. The label specifically highlights the silhouette's original design from 1989 in celebration of the 30th anniversary in this upcoming year. The retro running shoes are constructed from nylon mesh materials over the uppers along with suede reinforcement for soft textiles.

The lacing systems boast ghillie materials and it all sits on top of an EVA midsole foundation that delivers a double density support. Notably, the footwear model is complete with rubber studs over the outsoles that have been encased one by one for traction sensibilities. The sneakers are rounded out with a Torsion midfoot system for added support -- the ZX 4000 shoes will be available beginning December 8th.
