The New ZDDZ Series Flaunts Statement Anti-Consumerist Slogans

ZDDZ, a contemporary women's streetwear brand that's known to blend bold male styles into its designs, recently dropped the 'Funeral Service' collection with Legtorn's help.

Supposedly, the series' name comes from the designers' desire to create apparel that's "dedicated to the 'death of the artist in the modern world.'" Keeping this in mind, ZDDZ and Legtorn imbued the apparel with messy slogans that surround anti-consumerism -- making a statement against the obsessive drive towards perfection and status that many of today's young people carry.

To showcase these styles, which feature images surrounding death, romance and more, photographer Erik Panov was employed to lens a moody lookbook. The apparel shown within it can all be purchased from ZDDZ's online shop.
