The Zalando Fashion Car Lets You Shop as You Drive

Rinspeed and online clothing retailer Zalando have teamed up to create the Zalando Fashion Car. This interesting concept car is targeted at women as well as fashionable men and comes loaded with tech. The window visors of the car are equipped with iPads that use an augmented reality app to scan the clothing of passerbys. If the app spots someone wearing clothing sold by Zalando, the driver and passengers can order the item from the comfort of the car.

The clothing is then delivered to the car via GPS. The items can be tried on using a special changing curtain mounted to the trunk. The trunk is equipped with a "fashion box" for holding clothing and other items. The Zalando Fashion Car is a concept in the truest sense of the word, and will most likely never see production. Still, it's an intriguing design nonetheless and its nice to see automakers targeting women for a change, however stereotypical it may be.
