Lancôme and YSL Beauté Cafés have been announced at the Hamad International Airport, offering a COVID-safe cosmetic experience that's filled with the latest in beauty technology.
Cosmetics are a highly personal experience, so it's no surprise that much of the beauty industry relies on in-person interactions to sell goods. Between preferred scents, product consistency, spread and more, it can be hard for a consumer to commit to a new product without trying it on their skin first. In a contactless world, this is where beauty technology comes into play. The airport-based beauty stores boast the latest in try-on technology to help make the shopping process as seamless as possible for the consumer. The store space is equipped with L’Oréal’s ModiFace technology -- an LED screen that uses personalization and augmented reality to helps the user virtually try-on any product in the store.
