The Yoti CitizenCard PASS is Designed to Work Alongside Biometric Apps

Launched in a partnership between Yoti and CitizenCard, the Yoti CitizenCard PASS card gives young UK residents a secure and affordable way to prove their identities in the real world and in online spaces. Working alongside Yoti's biometric identity app, the Yoti CitizenCard PASS essentially functions as an alternative to a passport as a means of identification. The card will showcase name, date of birth, a photo, a PASS (Proof of Age Standard Scheme) hologram, and a UV mark indicating its recognition by the UK's Home Office.

While Yoti was designing the new identification card they took into consideration a Google survey that found that 20 percent of young people said they lose an ID document at least once per year. With this in mind, the Yoti CitizenCard PASS card was developed to contain important identification information, while still being an affordable option to replace.
