Yeast-Based Ice Creams

'Coolhaus' Has Announced Plans to Remove Dairy from Its Entire Product Line

'Coolhaus,' the Los Angeles-based ice cream company, has announced a new business goal to transition its entire product base to yeast-based ice cream with the help of 'Perfect Day,' the company famous for its alternative milk products. These two companies seek to change the norms of the dairy industry towards sustainable, animal-free alternatives. The yeast-based milk protein created by Perfect Day is achieved by using a yeast-based microflora to create a whey protein that is nearly identical to the one found in cow's milk.

Coolhaus is committed to diversity and inclusion and has consistently adapted to the modern market through its ice cream products. The product releases from Coolhaus have previously included vegan, cruelty-free, and plant-based recipes. The company is now committing to permanently making these changes, though, as it believes the future of food production is animal-free.
