The XOTO Founder Edition urban electric scooters are an easy to ride transportation solution for city dwellers to help them get around on their own terms in a decidedly comfortable way.
The scooters are characterized by their three-wheeled construction that works with a self-stabilizing mechanism to offer impressive balance, stability and maneuverability. The scooters are powered by a 3kW brushless motor located in the front wheel hub, which will provide two drive modes that are speed limited along with a third mode for a blazing-fast 45mph top speed. Riders can enjoy up to 45-miles of range per charge of the swappable 2.15kWh batteries.
Founder Tim Huntzinger spoke on the XOTO Founder Edition urban electric scooters saying, "Riding X-oto feels different. It’s safer than a motorcycle and easier to ride, so it removes the barriers that hold a lot of people back. It’s easier to carry a passenger or cargo than an ebike so it should be more useful for most people. In many states, you don’t even need a motorcycle license to ride it."
