The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M40 is the brand's latest piece of smart home equipment that's engineered with an array of advanced features to maximize its versatility within the modern living space. The lock is outfitted with facial recognition technology alongside a fingerprint scanner and PIN pad to maximize access for users, while also allowing for management via the Xiaomi app. The smart lock is also paired with a 4.98-inch display on the interior unit to help users see who's knocking without the need for a peephole or the app.

The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M40 makes use of a dual-camera system to achieve a 190-degree field of view to help users see if parcels are delivered. The lock is rated to offer up to six months of use per charge.
