STAUD joins forces with New Balance on a new design iteration of the XC-72 sneaker model for the season with two new colorway options for the season. The duo draws inspiration from surf culture as the main theme, infusing the details across the lifestyle model.
STAUD's co-founder Sarah Staudinger talks about the new look, stating that "We accentuated the vintage Southern California surf scene from the late 80's and early 90's, but with fresh details that bring more functionality to the pieces." The shoes have a bright color palette that is led by aquatic blue, poppy red, lemon yellow, and light lavender for a bold look. It is followed by an all-white iteration for a more muted look before being rounded out by apparel and accessories.
