Glass World Cup Benches

World Cup Players Who Don’t Make the Starting XI Will Sit on These Benches

AGC Glass unveiled the official glass-strengthened benches on which World Cup player substitutes and support staff will rest their bottoms during the World Cup in Brazil.

The benches have a glass roof made from chemically strengthened glass, allowing for unmatched visibility, durability and damage resistance. The benches are an upgraded version of the benches AGC supplied for the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013.

The benches will be coated with anti-reflective material that will make them less reflective and more transparent, giving fans the impression that players are closer to them.

Aside from allowing for the best possible viewing experience for fans, the bench also provides top-notch comfort and protection for World Cup players and staff. The benches use Dragontrail X technology, which makes the glass highly durable against shock. The technology is usually used to protect electronic devices and gadgets.
