Will Poho, an established coat manufacturer and designer, recently launched Woodpecker, a vegan outerwear brand that updates popular Canadian coat styles with ethical builds.
To do so, Woodpecker utilizes a bio-based fiber for its insulation called Sustans Fiber, which is completely cruelty free, resistant to moisture, lightweight, and breathable. With this, Woodpecker's winterwear is designed to keep wearers warm in temperatures as low as -30°C, or -22°F. The coats do not use any animal fur either, with the brand opting to line them using a cozy faux fur material instead.
Woodpecker's outerwear is offered in both women's and men's styles, with sizes ranging from XS to XL. The coats are also available in a wide range of colorways and finishes, and each is finished off with an animal emblem on the sleeve.
