Valerii Danevych's wood watches showcases the beauty that can come about from utilizing nature's wonder.
Wood is fairly hard material to manage. Designers and craftsmen often have difficulty reforming such a material, but watchmaker Danevych was able to just that with his wood watches. Almost all of the materials that were used to create these watches are made entirely out of wood with the exception of a metal spring, which helps the timepiece for moving.
The wooden construction of the watches adds a unique visual statement to small watches. The gears of the watches are also made out of wood and can store 20 hours of reserve power. The construction of these wooden watches took Danevych several months to make and comes with a price tag of up to $130,000.
