De Bethune and Louis Vuitton Unveil the LVDB-03 Louis Varius Project

De Bethune and Louis Vuitton have jointly released the LVDB-03 Louis Varius Project, a collaborative wristwatch that combines De Bethune’s technical expertise with Louis Vuitton’s design cues. The LVDB-03 features a case constructed from a titanium alloy with a distinctive finish, paired with a dial design that references Louis Vuitton’s emblematic motifs. The timepiece uses a round case profile supported by integrated lugs, and the caseback is engraved with collaborative identifiers marking the joint project.

The watch is powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement developed by De Bethune, with a visible balance wheel and bridge system that exemplifies the brand’s approach to precision engineering. The movement offers a multi-day power reserve, and its components are finished with high-polish and brushed surfaces that highlight mechanical detail. The dial includes applied hour markers, a central pair of hands for hours and minutes, and a subsidiary indicator that tracks the power reserve.

The LVDB-03 is presented on a leather strap secured with a bespoke clasp that carries branding from both De Bethune and Louis Vuitton. Chronometric tolerances and finishing standards align with luxury watchmaking practices characteristic of both marques.
