Withings Health Solutions, a service division of health tech giant Withings, has officially launched Withings RPM, an all-new remote patient monitoring system. According to the company, the new platform leverages Withing's signature connected devices, such as its watches, scales, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and more, to track and monitor patient health metrics. These metrics include items such as blood pressure, heart rate, activity, and sleep patterns.
Overall, the new offering aims to provide practitioners with a series of tools that can be used to simplify the remote patient monitoring process. For example, Withings RPM comes with a digital assistant that helps users set up their profiles and track their monthly reports.
"In our analysis, the missing ingredient until now is attention to simplicity and a focus on the patient experience. Most efforts have focused on technical integration for providers, which while extremely important, is not enough for RPM to be successful. Launching an RPM program, onboarding patients, monitoring them, and helping them master their health should be easy for all stakeholders," said Antoine Robiliard, vice president of Withings Health Solutions.
