Wine Spies' Enigma label was inspired by English codebreakers during WWII and the products were created with some of the best wineries in the world, which are kept secret. Initially, two wines are being introduced: a Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 sourced from a multi-100-point winemaker and a Santa Barbara Rose of Grenache 2019.
After popping the bottle, customers will be able to use a cypher key found on the cork, in combination with an online virtual enigma to reveal a secret message. Enigma is also setting itself apart with a collection of NFTs to match the tangible bottles of wine. On OpenSea, the highest bidder will get the digital version of the label on the Ether blockchain, plus possession of the physical product.
