Wine and cheese pairing is a classic match. Certain cheeses bring out distinctive flavors in certain wines. However, pairing up the right type of cheese with the right type of wine to create the most promising flavor explosion in your mouth can be a tricky task.
Luckily, Cabot Cheese designed a helpful chart that depicts what wines and cheeses are best suited for one another. For example, a medium to full-bodied Merlot pairs best with a tangy or sharp-tasting cheese like a garlic and herb cheese. Likewise, an off-dry Moscato wine blends best with a spicy cheese because the spice offsets the sweetness.
The guide pairs almost every type of wine and categorizes them into red, white and pink wine sections. You will be a wine and cheese connoisseur in no time.
