Lucky Chip is best known as a pop-up restaurant in London, but the brand is set to open its first permanent location with a focus on wine and burgers. The Lucky Chip Burgers & Wine boasts a list of more than 120 different wine types, with most bottles priced between £20 and £50, with selections also available by the glass. Additionally, there will be a few premium wine choices over the £100 mark.
As far as the food that is set to go along with the wine, a number of meat, seafood and vegetarian burger options will be available. Since wine and burgers are meant to go hand-in-hand, few spices will be used in cooked items to ensure flavors don't become distracting.
When it came to executing the idea, Lucky Chip's Ben Denner simply describes: "It's partly me being selfish. Nowhere else is doing really good burgers with really good wine at the moment."
