Selvika by Reiulf Ramstad Architects is a unique building that has a curvaceous concrete design. This building's purpose is to act as a lookout for visitors, and it has various housing functions including public toilets, a bike shed, benches, open kitchen, parking and a fireplace.
This structure is located on a secluded beach in northern Norway, and the building is self-sustainable. The long ramp was created to make the building accessible from the road straight to the shoreline, and this entranceway "opens up new perspectives and experiences for the visitor," according to the architects.
Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter is an architectural firm based out of Norway, and they create high artistic quality projects with a large range of innovation. This firm has received multiple awards for their national and international projects and assignments.
