The Windfall in Athens photo series is inspired by the 1950s film of the same name. Its vintage vibe is nevertheless given a modern appeal thanks to the cuts, fabrics and detailing. Of course, the all-black palette helps as well. Although that could be explained away with a sad window storyline.

Shot by Fenia Labropoulou, a photographer appropriately hailing from Athens, Greece, the Windfall in Athens photo series stars Fashion Cult model Mirjam Roth. Styled by the fine folk over at Celebrity Skin, the dark wardrobe was complemented with loose finger waves by hairstylist Nicolas Balialios and a flawless face by makeup artist Margarita Moneda. Despite the melancholy aesthetic of the photoshoot, the dresses are mesmerizing.
