Dutch studio Visser En Meijwaard releases a collection of whimsical furniture, called 'Truecolors.' In the making of this eclectic collection, the design duo — Steven Visser and Vera Meijwaard, focus their attention on playful designs. From the bold cabinets to the colorful minimalist seating, Visser En Meijwaard's collection of whimsical furniture has a recurring motif of zippers throughout.

Each of the pieces "combines wooden components with durable PVC cloth that zips up." This unconventional feature to furniture design is definitely a worthwhile approach that engages the consumer. While boldly colored PVC materials wrap around the wooden skeleton of Visser En Meijwaard's cabinets, the seating is made to "reference equipment used in gymnastics."
