The Los Angeles-based designer took a pair of incredible, multi-patterned vintage Versace pants, cut them up and sewed the silk pants pieces onto a pair of Nike Air Max 1 sneakers. The result is a pair of attention-grabbing, 80s-inspired, one-of-a-kind shoes.

The custom silk 'What the Versace' sneakers are for sale on the etai.la Instagram account, which displays a variety of completely unique handmade items built from upcycled vintage designer pieces. Although no specific price is placed on the 'What the Versace' shoes, the boutique's Instagram bio clearly states that prices start at $1,000.
