Waymo Premier Is Waymo's New Invite-Only Membership

Waymo launched Waymo Premier, an invite-only membership program that offers riders priority pickups and a rewards system featuring 10% Waymo Cash earned on every trip. The service debuted for select users in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix and was introduced in response to customer demand for additional benefits and loyalty features. Members can also receive enhanced rewards during busy periods, gain early access to Waymo service in new cities as coverage expands and receive up to five free ride cancellations per month.

Priced at US$29.99 per month, the program is aimed at frequent riders who value convenience, reduced wait times and ongoing ride credits. By combining operational perks with loyalty rewards, Waymo is positioning robotaxi access as a subscription-based mobility service rather than a purely transactional transportation option.

For urban commuters, Waymo Premier offers a way to exchange recurring usage for preferential service and ride savings, reflecting a broader trend toward membership-driven transportation platforms that monetize convenience while encouraging long-term customer engagement.
