Uber One Introduces Family Sharing and Complimentary Ride Upgrades

Uber One has expanded its membership program with features designed to extend value beyond individual subscribers. The update introduces family sharing at no additional cost, allowing members to add one adult and unlimited teens to their plan. Each added adult receives full Uber One benefits, including $0 delivery fees and the ability to earn individual Uber One credits on rides.

The program now includes prioritized complimentary upgrades to premium vehicle categories when available. Members booking UberX may receive automatic upgrades to Uber Comfort or Uber Black, while Uber Comfort requests could be upgraded to Uber Premier. Throughout December, Uber plans to upgrade more than one million member rides across North America. The expansion also features holiday-specific promotions, including early access to discounts at select retailers and reduced pricing on Uber gift cards for members.
