Blancpain's Watch Jewelry Piece Celebrates Valentine's Day

In preparation for Valentine's Day this year, Blancpain created 14 feminine limited edition watches for women. The luxurious timepiece features a mother of pearl dial and an inlaid rose detail surrounded by 121 diamonds. In order to create depth and dimension, different thicknesses of mother of pearl were used to provide translucency to the pink rose.

Rather than being placed right in the middle of the watch face, the Blancplain chronograph has slightly off-center hands to indicate the time. On the reverse side of the watch, the rose detailing is repeated, along with an engraving that features the edition number. To secure the watch in place, Blancplain uses an elegant white ostrich leather strap that provides a subtle texture and look to match the mother of pearl dial.
