Walmart Marketplace Will be Introduced to Canada

Walmart Marketplace, which already exists in the United States, will now be introduced to Walmart Canada's flagship online store – Walmart.ca.

This new Walmart Marketplace addition to the Canadian division of the brand will feature "27 trusted, third-party sellers, curated by Walmart Canada," and will offer products in a range of categories that include "home, baby, apparel, toys, and sporting goods." The goal of the addition of this feature is to eventually "quadriple the number of products for sale online." While for now the brand is starting off with 27 new sellers, it will eventually grow this number to include more.

The purpose of Walmart's new initiative is to further its ability to cater to the specific needs of Canadian consumers.
