Walmart and Postmates have partnered to offer consumers a more convenient and efficient online shopping experience.
This move serves as an extension of Walmart's attempts to expand its grocery services to cover 40% of the United States, with the hope that the new delivery services will entice customers to use the brand as a one-stop shop. The brand has launched the partnership in North Carolina, where it hopes to attract a larger clientele.
According to Walmart's executive vice president of Central Operations, Mark Ibbotson, "Customers are busy, they are managing jobs, soccer practice, dance lessons and social schedules; so we are on a mission to do more than keep a little extra money in their pockets.”
