The Wall Eraser Takes the Pain Out of Repainting Projects

House painters around the world need to start crossing their fingers for Hojjat Kaffash's Wall Eraser to go from concept to reality. The Wall Eraser is a conceptual power tool that strips the paint off of walls and smooths the surface below.

The Wall Eraser comes in two versions, manual and automatic, with the automatic option looking a tad too complicated for my tastes. The manual option looks like a belt sander and seems easier to set up and handle, although these conceptual shots don't give you much to go off of.

I believe a device such as the Wall Eraser would empower more people to undertake their own home improvement projects as opposed to hiring help to complete simple yet monotonous and maddening tasks such as stripping paint from a wall. Power to the people!
