The 'BLSTRsander' Can Be Used Without a Separate Air Compressor

Koen Meukens, an entrepreneur and innovator based in Belgium, has launched a unique new sand blaster that is designed to be exceptionally easy to use in the home environment due to the fact that unlike conventional alternatives, it doesn't necessarily need to be used in conjunction with an air compressor.

The 'BLSTRsander' works by securing grit in a container which then gets conveyed into the device's body and gets ejected out from the front by a spinning disc system made with ceramic, which is said to be more durable than steel. Capable of accepting grit grains measuring in at between 0.2 and 0.5 millimeters wide, the 'BLSTRsander' allows users to adjust the amount and velocity at which grit is thrown out.

Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign over on Kickstarter, this innovatively designed sand blaster can be procured for a pledge of $279.
