Waitrose 'LOVE life You Count...' Colorfully Display Calories
Katherinev123 — February 3, 2012 — Lifestyle
As many dieters know, it is extremely difficult to lose weight when you don't know how many calories are in a given food item. The design firm Pearlfisher has created a vibrant and informational new packaging for the Waitrose 'LOVE life You Count...' line of foods to help people in this regard.
The Waitrose 'LOVE life You Count...' packaging is fun and vibrant, making it near to impossible to miss the nutritional information that's highlighted in bright colors on the front of the package. The colors also indicate which category the food falls under -- for example, teal corresponds to natural ingredients and fish products. Designed to fit into a diet consisting of 1,500 calories a day, the products include healthy but delicious meal ideas ranging from French butter croissants to cheddar and onion quiche.
According to Pearlfisher's creative director Natalie Chung, "The new LOVE life ‘you count…’ range from Waitrose is designed to highlight the importance of individual choice and provides a transparency with regards to calorie information."
