Vurger King is a new destination in Madrid for plant-based eaters and it's the first-ever 100% vegetarian Burger King restaurant. At the restaurant, guests will find all of the chain's meatless menu items, such as the plant-based Whopper, plant-based nuggets and the all-new Long Vegetal, which was created as a vegetarian-friendly version of the chain's chicken sandwich.
On-site, some animal by-products (like cheese and mayonnaise) will still be served, although they can be removed upon request. This new vegetarian fast food outpost promises to serve the 13% Spaniards of who have gone mostly vegan or vegetarian with their diet.
Fast food restaurants are not only expanding their plant-based options but also catering expressly to those who want to eat plant-based with locations like Vurger King.
