For the latest Volkswagon Jetta advertisement, a South African ad agency came up with a clever and cutesy theme that would require enlisting a very experienced photoshopper.

The Volkswagon Jetta advertisement revolves around the phrase “getting there is just as fun” and shows a small child burying her brother in sand in the back seat, which also happens to be made out of sand.

Props to the photoshopper because this is one super cool ad.

Implications - Consumers are intrigued by surrealistic imagery because it gives consumers a sense of euphoria. As many North Americans live hectic lifestyles, consumers use this euphoria as a source of stress relief. Corporations may consider utilizing surrealistic graphics in their advertising campaigns in order to garner consumer attention.
