I've never really considered cornrows to be the most fashion forward look, but if the Vogue Paris Camden Road editorial approves, then who am I to disagree.
Starring model Amanda Murphy with photography by Alasdair Mclellan, the photo shoot seems to be telling the story of a runaway teen. Dressed in a grunge style, Murphy wears items like an over sized coat and pants styled by Marie Chaix. Her hair and make up - done by Luke Hersheson and Lucia Pica - follow the same theme as she sports cornrows and shows off multiple piercings.
Although summer fashion is usually filled with bright colors and floral patterns, the Vogue Paris Camden Road shoot proves that being a little rough around the edges is also always in style.
