In order to draw attention to the need for loved ones to stay connected, Vodafone India released a short commercial in time for Father's Day, which highlights how Millennials and Boomers interact with one another.
The ad begins with a young girl in a restaurant, who is looking to honor her father by posting a picture on social media, along with a caption that describes how he's made a positive impact on her life. Once she posts it, she starts to count the likes that the picture receives excitedly. At this point, the camera pans to her father, who is right across the table from her. With this short but meaningful commercial, Vodafone India encourages consumers to put down their phones when their with their loved ones so that they can truly appreciate them.
