'Vincent AI,' a newly released neural network from the team at Cambridge Consultants, brings the works some of the great painters of the ages to bear on even the most inexperienced artist's scribbles. Having been fed thousands of historic paintings from masters like Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Picasso, the AI system analyzes what its user is trying to sketch and completes that effort in line with the styles of these artists.

To be sure, AI that creates original art is nothing new. The difference with Vincent AI is that the program actively collaborates with the user who's delivering input. Previous systems would merely take the work of Van Gogh as input and design a piece based on the aggregate, but Vincent AI can analyze what a user is currently working on and extrapolate what needs to be added to finish the piece as beautifully as possible.
