Vigneti Massa Works with Compellio on a Unique Interactive Packaging

Vigneti Massa launches a set of vintage wines from 2018 with Guala and its connected closures -- specifically the Derthona Strepi, Derthona Costa del Vento, and the Derthona Montecitorio. Each of these bottles features NFC technology that leads consumers to detailed information about their bottle of wine. This is possible due to partnerships with a Luxembourg software technology company Compellio.

The information showcases where the wines were made, the vineyards that the grapes were grown on, the tasting notes and palette, as well as detailed reviews from experts. Every bottle can be verified using blockchain technology as well with a unique identification code, with the NFC caps available throughout a variety of countries including Italy, Austria, France, and more.
