A restaurant in London, Ontario, is currently using video conferencing technology to connect diners all over the world. The rise of video messaging has allowed consumers everywhere to share special moments that they would have otherwise missed. Now one restaurant is making the same technology available to its diners.
Aroma Restaurant recently equipped one of its private dining rooms with video conferencing technology. The room features a projector, a webcam and a computer that is pre-loaded with Skype. Diners can then add friends and family to a live video chat for the duration of their meal. In order to set up the video conference, both users simply need to download the free software.
The video-based technology allows diners to share special moments with loved ones even though they may not be physically present.
